The world needs more flowers.
My love for bouquets started with my grandma. I’d watch her rearrange the bouquets my grandpa would purchase for her and was filled with awe at how she transformed these pieces.
As a little girl she told me stories of her childhood back in England and the magnificent garden her father had. When she made the move to Saskatchewan, with my grandpa, she worked in a florist shop.
I have so many precious memories sitting in her backyard garden sipping lemonade with her. The joy I received being able to pick some of her flowers and create my own bouquets is something I’ll cherish forever. This is where my love for bouquets started, and I think of Grams every time I see a bouquet.
